Choc Strawberry Bliss Balls

If you’re after a nutritious and yummy snack that takes next to no time to make, this is it! You probably have these ingredients in your pantry already as well. I needed something quick to make for the kids to have as an after school snack today, and I think they will really enjoy them. The beauty of bliss balls is that they’re versatile - you can change up the ingredients to suit you. Enjoy!

Ingredients (makes 10 bliss balls):

  • 60g frozen strawberries (raspberries and blueberries will also be nice)

  • 1 cup desiccated or shredded coconut, plus extra or rolling

  • 2 heaped tbsp cacao powder

  • 4 Medjool dates, pitted

  • 1 tbsp nut butter (or tahini for nut free)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

Put all the ingredients (except for the extra coconut for rolling) into a Thermomix or food processor and pulse until the mixture is finely chopped and starts to come together. Roll into balls and then roll in the extra coconut. Store in the fridge and consume within 3 days.
